Guided Setup Option

A focused product built around practical decisions and constraints.

The Guided Setup Option is for collectors who have acquired a piece from the catalog and want help with the decisions that come after the purchase: where the work should hang, how it should be framed, and what lighting will show it fairly. It is a structured consultation rather than a loose advisory call.

The session starts with the room itself. You share the wall dimensions, the existing furniture, and the light conditions at different times of day. From there we work through the practical tradeoffs: whether a float frame suits a deckled edge, how much matting a botanical study needs before it reads as contemporary, and when a spacer is worth the extra depth.

You leave with a written recommendation that names the exact materials, the hanging height, and the sequence of steps to install the work without damaging the paper. No vague suggestions, no decorative filler.

What the session covers

  • Wall assessment: dimensions, sightlines, and ambient light at morning and evening
  • Framing logic: matting width, glazing options, and frame profile matched to the print's medium
  • Placement plan: how the piece relates to adjacent furniture and neighboring works
  • Installation notes: hanging hardware, spacing, and handling precautions for archival paper

Sessions run for 60 minutes and are held over video call. You will receive a written summary within two working days, including material references and a step-by-step installation checklist.
